The Achimota Retail Centre came alive on Friday night, Republic Day. The Piano tour made a stop at the mall to thrill shoppers to non-stop live music, comedy, rap and poetry. The music show dubbed The Piano Concert, was hosted by the ever talented Kacey Moore of Big Brother Africa, the Hotshot edition. 

The Piano Concert had performances from songwriter and poet, Kacey Moore himself, amazing rapper AJ Nelson, the evergreen and award winning Ded Buddy aka Qweci, who performed some of his classic songs like “mepe wo saa” etc. There were surprise appearances and performance from Kumawood actors Kwaku Manu, Sunsum and Asuoden Music’s Pope Skinny who charged up the crowd. Some up and coming singers and a Gabonese singer also thrilled the crowd with some popular song renditions. 

Ghana based Nigerian comedian, Hogan made the crowd laugh out loud as usual in between the various performances. “De Nonfa King” Ajeezay also represented. 

The Piano Concert was put together by Ded Buddy (QWECi) and supported by events app Purlieu. Catch the Piano Tour next at the Junction Mall.
